Rage swings for the body but Halftard moves out of range.
Halftard swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Rage ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rage fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Halftard manages to avoid it.
It seemed like Halftard was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Halftard has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Test Rage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rage is breathing heavily.
Rage gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Rage tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Halftard is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Rage buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Rage!! Rage is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Halftard throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gary Halftard!

Rage is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Binay takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Binay avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Binay feinted with a counter takedown.
Rage throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rage moves in looking to clinch but Binay pushes him off.
Binay attempts a counter takedown but Rage avoids it well and moves away.
Binay drops his hands momentarily and Rage takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

and Binay counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Rage trying to keep a closed guard but Binay is proving a slippery customer.

Binay drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Binay jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rage can do anything to dispel that myth.#SUB#

Binay drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Binay seems to have locked his on tight now - Rage screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Binay, as he picks up the win!
