Vacon throws a nice outside leg kick.
Masahira misses with a telegraphed body shot
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Masahira uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Vacon has time to react.
A low kick from Masahira is predictable there
and Vacon counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Masahira misses with a left hand
and Vacon counters with an inside leg kick.
Masahira takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Masahira tries for a takedown but Vacon circles away easily
and Vacon counters with a nice low kick that buckles Masahira's knee momentarily.
Masahira misses with a leg kick
and Vacon counters with an outside leg kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Masahira is defended easily by Vacon.
Masahira on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Masahira's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Masahira sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Masahira gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!

Rick Vacon very nearly forgot to thank Sully's Bar & Grill amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.

Masahira looks to land a right hand but Skatias moved out of range.
Masahira looks to throw the jab but Skatias is out of range.
Masahira throws a big shot that misses.
Nice defenses there by Skatias.
Masahira swings widly with a right hand
and Skatias counters with a straight right hand.
Masahira tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Skatias was well out of range. Poor timing from Masahira.
Masahira misses with a leg kick
and Skatias counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Masahira to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Skatias!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Pipis Skatias!
A very excited looking Pipis Skatias rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

and Cash moves into the clinch.
Masahira wants a takedown.
Masahira drops down looking for an ankle pick but Cash pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Satoshi Masahira. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cash moves into the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Cash creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Masahira wants to take the fight to the mat but Cash manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Cash lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Masahira backwards.
Cash throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Masahiras head.
Cash is pressed up against the cage. Masahira has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cash down to the mat. Cash avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Satoshi Masahira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cash throws a body punch but Masahira moves out of range.
Cash connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Masahira throws an ugly left hook that misses #CL2#
and Cash counters by clinching up.
Masahira can't get the takedown.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cash is pressed up against the cage. Masahira has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cash down to the mat. Cash avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Cash closes the distance and clinches.

Cash gets through Masahira's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Masahira drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Cash drops Masahira onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Masahira is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!#ROC2#

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cash lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Masahira to his knees! Cash keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
