John Mugabi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mugabi feints and then cracks Quinlan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Quinlan down.

Mugabi looks to score with a jab to the body but Quinlan is just out of range.

Quinlan's coach down at Total Impact MMA/KT was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Quinlan's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mugabi lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Quinlan falls backwards - clearly groggy! Mugabi dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Wright moves into range and connects with a jab.
Quinlan throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Quinlan fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Wright.

Jurgs looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Jurgs pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Quinlan throws a quick inside leg kick.
Quinlan gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jurgs takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Jurgs misses with a takedown attempt - Quinlan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Jurgs looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Quinlan is fending him off so far but Jurgs persists. Nope, Quinlan circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jurgs shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Quinlan but Quinlan pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Quinlan rattles Jurgs with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Jurgs tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Quinlan dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Jurgs stiff and motionless on the mat!

The referee is keeping an eye on Quinlan - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Quinlan creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Froome with a big uppercut! Froome tries to clinch up but Quinlan pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Froome to the mat! Froome covers up and Quinlan unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
