The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Levenstein closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fingers did well to prevent Levenstein getting side control.
Levenstein is trying to control the action in half guard but Fingers is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Fingers is trying to stand up here but Levenstein is controlling him well.

Levenstein is looking for a kimura but Fingers is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Levenstein to get the leverage.

Fingers is squirming around, avoiding Levenstein 's attempts to control the action.

Levenstein looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Levenstein is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Fingers throws a big elbow that misses.
Fingers trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Fingers wants to pass the guard but Levenstein is keeping the position.
Levenstein utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Levenstein is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Levenstein working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fingers doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fingers manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Levenstein controls Fingers momentarily but Fingers frees himself.

Fingers is looking to stand up but Levenstein won't let him.

Fingers decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Levenstein , up you get!
Fingers misses with a looping left.
Levenstein steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fingers.

Levenstein shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Levenstein thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Levenstein stays in close to Fingers's body and controls the position.
Fingers doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Levenstein trying to control the position from guard on top but Fingers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Fingers closes the distance and clinches.
Levenstein can't get the takedown.

Levenstein wants to take the fight to the mat but Fingers manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Levenstein goes for a takedown attempt but Fingers pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Fingers throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Fingers lands a big right hand that sends Levenstein crashing to the mat! Fingers stays standing though and waves Levenstein back to his feet!

Levenstein is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fingers ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Levenstein out cold! The fight is over!

In defeat, Joshua Levenstein stepped up to the mic, saying 'This guy is a veteran he has amazing career and a lot of experiance it's an Honor for me to fight him. Hey , thank you for coming i promise next time my hand will be rised this is just the begining.'.

Fingers tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Minnie manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Fingers shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Minnie as he jumps to the side.
It seemed like Minnie was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Fingers tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Minnie swivels and escapes.
Fingers ducks under a wild hook from Minnie.
A jab from Minnie misses.
Minnie circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fingers connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Fingers tries to clinch but Minnie is having none of it.
Fingers throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Minnie stumbling backwards into the cage! Minnie bounces back off the cage towards Fingers, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Fingers lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Fingers celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Blackwell darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Fingers punching from the bottom.
Fingers trying to control but Blackwell postures up.

Blackwell stands up from half guard.
Blackwell really is a fat lump.

Blackwell shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Blackwell takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Blackwell is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Blackwell looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fingers with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Blackwell working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Blackwell prevents Fingers from improving his position.
Fingers trying to hold on to Blackwell's head to control him but Blackwell postures up.

Blackwell decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Fingers tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Blackwell manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Blackwell appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Blackwell swats away the attempt to clinch by Fingers.
Blackwell just misses with a punch to the body.
Fingers fails with a takedown attempt.

Blackwell moves into range and clinches up with Fingers.
Blackwell keeps control of Fingers as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Blackwell is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Fingers can't fight it off and eventually Blackwell manages to take the fight to the floor. Fingers looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Fingers has his feet on Blackwell's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Fingers keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fingers misses with a body kick.

Fingers sends Blackwell crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Fingers is motioning to the referee to let Blackwell up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Blackwell is rocked!

It looks like Lyndon Blackwell has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fingers lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Blackwell up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Fingers from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Blackwell's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Johnny Fingers!
