I was talking to Cierpka's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Horrible takedown attempt by Taheil or perhaps it was just good defense by Spar, which made it look bad.
Spar half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

A relieved looking Julian Taheil thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Julian Taheil opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.

Kaukalo throws a chopping leg kick but Taheil manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
