He tries to recover but Sykes pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Stampfer is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Metaxas feints and then cracks Stampfer's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Stampfer down. #CL#

Stampfer digs a right hand into Metaxas's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Metaxas's gas tank.

Horrible takedown attempt by Reilly or perhaps it was just good defense by Stampfer, which made it look bad. #TD#
Reilly closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Stampfer to the mat! Stampfer manages to get full guard. #ES2#

Iain Reilly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Stampfer has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.#TD#

Stampfer looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Stampfer pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

BatzCastelmore lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
BatzCastelmore walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Stampfer checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
