Long tries to work over Dall's front leg with a kick but Dall checks it.

Long shoots in and drives through. Dall sprawls well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A little feinted left hand from Dall on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Dall throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dall. Long does a little dance to reset his feet.
Long tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Long throws a leg kick
and Dall counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Long thinking.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Dall feints a jab promting Long to slip. Dall then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Long slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
The fighters circle, before Dall throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Long's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Dall lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Steely Eyed The Night seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck for Long with that takedown attempt.

Long definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

The Night lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Long circles away quickly and effectively.

Long shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has The Night pinned against the cage. The Night gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Long. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Long seems to be stalking The Night here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastating head kick! The Night drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

Long wants to clinch up but Frederick keeps it at a distance.
Frederick is looking to counter punch.
Long tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Frederick digs a good hook to Long's body.
Frederick takes a swing at Long's ribcage but misses.
Long tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.#CL2#

Long throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Frederick's waist but Frederick gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Long off to one side.

Long misses with a combination
and Shiroo counters with a stiff right hand.
We've been informed that Shiroo has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Long takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Shiroo slips a jab and a cross from Long.
A low kick from Long misses #TD2#
and Shiroo counters with a nice double leg into side control. Long won't be happy with that.
Shiroo tries to move to mount but Long blocks the move with his legs.
Long holding on.
Shiroo is trying to move to mount but Long reverses beautifully and ends up in Shiroo's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Shiroo has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Long is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Shiroo.#T2#
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
You can see the frustration on Shiroo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

MacFarlane has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Kentucky Fried Gym in the buildup to the fight.

They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Rian MacFarlane was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
