Bruttz is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hendricks wants to stand and escape but Bruttz is having none of it.
Hendricks has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Amsterdam is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bruttz knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. #SUB#
Amsterdam looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Amsterdam drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Amsterdam jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 1 losses; Domagoj Glavas!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Valeri Chadov and Fedor Mirinova.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Glavas closes the distance and clinches.

Glavas manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Bruttz wants to pass the guard but Glavas is keeping the position.
Bruttz is working hard here to advance position.
Bruttz has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Glavas is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Bruttz rolls with it to try and escape but Glavas cranks on the arm and Bruttz is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Bruttz is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hayes sees it coming and defends easily.

Bruttz looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Hayes is refusing to be controlled, as Bruttz sits in half guard.

Bruttz is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hayes is looking to control Bruttz's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hayes avoid being mounted?

Bruttz seems to be working for a kimura but Hayes defends the submission attempt.

Bruttz wants to work for an arm triangle but Hayes is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Bruttz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hayes is just riding it out for now. Bruttz eventually gives up the hold.

Bruttz in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Hayes tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Bruttz!
