Sloppy strikes from Bathory. Those never looked like landing.
A nice inside leg kick there by Bathory. That's going to slow Beefheart down.
Bathory looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bathory lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. Beefheart throws a shot from downtown. Bathory moves away and avoids it.
Bathory tries to close the distance and clinch up but Beefheart swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Beefheart has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
