Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ernesto Llosa (ranked 451 p4p, 60 weight class) and Jim Jones Jr (ranked 482 p4p, 66 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Ernesto Llosa!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim Jones Jr!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones Jr throws a hook but Llosa blocks it.
Llosa misses with a takedown attempt
and Jones Jr counters with a right hand to the body.

and Jones Jr makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Jones Jr throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Llosa sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Llosa shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones Jr sprawls well. He's pushed Llosa's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Jones Jr shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Llosa eats them both and turns towards Jones Jr to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Llosa shoots in but Jones Jr avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Llosa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones Jr sprawls well. Jones Jr wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Llosa gets slowly back to his feet.

and Llosa makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Llosa will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Horrible takedown attempt by Llosa or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones Jr, which made it look bad.

Jones Jr might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Llosa haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Jones Jr looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Llosa with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Jones Jr lands a left and a right that send Llosa crashing to the mat, dazed. Jones Jr thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Oh Llosa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
