The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yashweh shoots in for a takedown but Reyvolt shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Reyvolt feinted with a counter takedown.
Yashweh fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Yashweh tries to clinch up but Reyvolt circles away and keeps his distance.
Reyvolt drops down looking for a counter takedown but Yashweh sprawls and moves away.
Yashweh shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Reyvolt as he avoids it easily.
Reyvolt attempts a counter takedown but Yashweh avoids it well and moves away.
Robert Reyvolt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wotan Yashweh.
Yashweh looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Reyvolt counters with a single leg into guard. Yashweh didn't expect that.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yashweh working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Reyvolt doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Reyvolt manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Reyvolt accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Yashweh is looking to cinch up a triangle. Reyvolt throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Yashweh's body to avoid the submission. Yashweh has instead reached around Reyvolt's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Yashweh arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
