Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Ando Fumiaki (ranked 5792 p4p, 412 weight class) and Albert Thompson (ranked 3455 p4p, 317 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Albert Thompson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson throws a big shot that misses.
Thompson lands the left hand.

Fumiaki throws a head kick that half lands.
Thompson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
The fight stays on the outside here - Fumiaki looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Fumiaki wants to clinch up but Thompson keeps it at a distance.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Thompson! But no joy.
Thompson misses with a looping right.
Thompson swats away the attempt to clinch by Fumiaki.
Thompson doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Fumiaki ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thompson moves away.

and Thompson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Thompson takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Thompson looks to land a left hand but Fumiaki moved out of range nicely.
Fumiaki definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Thompson swings for the body but Fumiaki moves out of range.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Fumiaki.
Fumiaki throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Thompson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Fumiaki ducks under a wild hook from Thompson.
Thompson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Fumiaki throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Thompson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Fumiaki is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Thompson misses with a looping left.
Thompson throws a jab when Fumiaki was well out of range.
Good shot there by Thompson.
Thompson might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Albert Thompson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thompson throws a shot from downtown. Fumiaki moves away and avoids it.
Fumiaki tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Thompson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Thompson looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Fumiaki steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Thompson.

Thompson throws a hook but Fumiaki avoids it easily.

Nice straight punches there by Thompson. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Thompson.
Fumiaki ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Thompson blocks a head kick by Fumiaki.
Thompson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Thompson misses the jab.
Fumiaki is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Thompson.
Thompson connects with a quick right hand that sends Fumiaki tumbling backwards onto the canvas! As his head bounces into the ropes, it doesn't look good for him beating the count! 3,4,5,6,7 and he's up! No, he's back down again! This one is all over - the referee has called off the fight!
