McIntyre gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Lannister throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

McIntyre closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
McIntyre jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lannister walks away with a smile on his face. McIntyre gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lannister tries to close the distance and clinch up but McIntyre swats him away and circles back towards the center.
McIntyre shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

McIntyre changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lannister looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

McIntyre lands some shots froms side control.
Lannister tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McIntyre wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McIntyre stands up and beckons Lannister to his feet.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close round but I would say that Scott McIntyre will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Lannister tries a head kick but it misses.
McIntyre changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lannister tries to avoid it but McIntyre manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lannister to the ground. Lannister escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

McIntyre feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McIntyre accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for McIntyre, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
