Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pierre Bonin (ranked 4968 p4p, 0 weight class) and Royce Peyton (ranked 6631 p4p, 0 weight class). Royce Peyton is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peyton looks for a takedown but Bonin sprawls well.
Peyton shoots in looking for a takedown. Bonin tries to sprawl out of it but Peyton keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bonin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Peyton throws a right hand that Bonin ducks under and follows up with a left that Bonin also avoids with ease.
Bonin changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Peyton will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Bonin's jab looks to have found its range, popping Peyton under the eye.
