PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aloysius Wiremu (ranked 2682 p4p, 322 weight class) and Kevin Huang (ranked 1954 p4p, 236 weight class). Wiremu comes into the arena with Billy Joel - The River of Dreams blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiremu throws a body shot but no joy.
Wiremu scores with a head kick. Huang tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

It looks like Kevin Huang has been cut.

and Huang cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The fighters circling - Huang throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Huang is taking a breather. Wiremu says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Huang is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Huang slips a nice elbow through Wiremu's hands, connecting with Wiremu's forehead.

Wiremu is staying active underneath Huang, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Huang cracks Wiremu with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Huang has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Wiremu's face.

Huang is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Wiremu can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Huang connects with a bit shot that sees Wiremu covering up! More strikes from Huang and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Huang is our winner by TKO!
