Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Victor Silva (ranked 6092 p4p, 518 weight class) and Awobe Mufasa (ranked 6662 p4p, 543 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Silva might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Light it up. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva fails in his attempt to clinch.
Silva throws a series of strikes that have Mufasa backpedaling.
Mufasa lands a high kick!
Silva misses with a hook.
Mufasa showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Silva.
Silva is looking to clinch but Mufasa is avoiding it.
Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva tries to land a front kick but Mufasa steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Despite the aggression on Mufasa's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Silva throws a right hand that misses
enabling Mufasa to counter with a crisp jab.
Silva throws a series of punches but Mufasa moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mufasa avoids a kick to the body.
Mufasa is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Silva throws a lazy head kick
and Mufasa counters with a series of strikes. Silva will be more careful next time no doubt.
Silva tries to bum rush Mufasa with a series of wild strikes but Mufasa uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Silva looks to land a combination but Mufasa avoids it well.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mufasa! But no joy.
Nice body kick from Mufasa.

Silva moves into the clinch.
Silva definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Silva jumps guard but Mufasa stands there with Silva around his waist. Silva gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Silva - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Mufasa stalling in the clinch but Silva improves position.

Mufasa breaks from the clinch.
Silva is looking to chop away at Mufasa's legs.
Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mufasa swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A punch combination from Silva misses.
Silva misses with a left hand
and Mufasa counters with a straight right hand.
Silva looks to land a right hand but Mufasa moved out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Silva wants to clinch
and Mufasa counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Silva clobbers Mufasa with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Silva drops Mufasa with a beautiful combination! Mufasa stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Silva is looking for the KO!

Mufasa is rocked!

It looks like Awobe Mufasa has been cut.
Silva ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Mufasa out cold! The fight is over!
