Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
35 - 51 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Huma Krynn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
29 - 35 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Dux!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Franklyn Lucas and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dux connects with a jab.
Krynn throws a hook to the side of Dux's head but Dux sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dux lands a head kick. Krynn smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Krynn lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dux circles away quickly and effectively.
Krynn throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dux displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Krynn throws out the jab.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Krynn throws a hook but Dux blocks it.
Dux lands a high kick!
Krynn misses with a lunging right hand
and Dux counters with a good low kick that Krynn was not able to check.
Krynn looks to throw the jab but Dux is out of range.
Dux lands with a good body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dux throws a head kick that Krynn semi-blocks.
Dux thuds a left hand into Krynn's body.
Dux lands a big head kick that sends Krynn tumbling to the mat! Dux takes a step backwards and waves Krynn back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Krynn is rocked!
Krynn takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Oh Krynn is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dux has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Nice body punch from Dux.
Krynn is breathing heavily.
Dux looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Dux backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Krynn's temple! It sends Krynn violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Dux celebrates and the doctors try to help Krynn!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Frank Dux!
Frank Dux decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
