Box misses with a takedown

and Boss counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Boss is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Box stopping the sweep attempt from Boss.
Boss bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Box's guard.

Boss decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Box, up you get!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Boss.

Box shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Boss counters by moving into the clinch.
Box jumps guard but Boss stands there with Box around his waist. Box gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johny Box. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Boss ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Boss no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Boss is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Box is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Boss jumps into side control!
