Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Apollo Zenon (ranked 3476 p4p, 0 weight class) and The RocknRolla (ranked 2812 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying RocknRolla's choice of entrance music: Colonna Sonora. The RocknRolla is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
RocknRolla misses with a few strikes there.
RocknRolla lands with a straight right. Zenon didn't see that one coming.
RocknRolla looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
RocknRolla turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
RocknRolla scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Zenon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around RocknRolla's waist but RocknRolla gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zenon off to one side.
RocknRolla tries to counter with a clinch but Zenon shakes him off and moves away.

Zenon was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
RocknRolla ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Zenon moves away.

Zenon is stalling here. RocknRolla is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Zenon seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and RocknRolla has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

RocknRolla remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Zenon chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before RocknRolla can pounce on him.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
