The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kessler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Qiang moves away.
Qiang is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Kessler with a body shot.

Kessler fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Qiang manages to avoid it.

Qiang has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Kessler is landing a low percentage of strikes.

It seemed like Qiang was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

A little jabbing left from Qiang on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Qiang drops Kessler with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kessler looks back up at him and smiles so Qiang waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kessler swings for the body but Qiang moves out of range.
Kessler doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kessler drops his hands momentarily. Qiang doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Kessler staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Kessler doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
