PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Killua Zoldyk (ranked 3292 p4p, 297 weight class) and Ky Tycoon (ranked 2858 p4p, 266 weight class). Tycoon is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Im the champ. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Ky Tycoon enters the cage!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ky Tycoon!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zoldyk gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Tycoon trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Zoldyk can't keep his opponent in guard - Tycoon advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Tycoon is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Zoldyk defends it well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Tycoon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zoldyk swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Tycoon is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Zoldyk defends it well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Zoldyk trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Zoldyk throws a strike but Tycoon rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zoldyk is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Tycoon is looking to pass into half guard but Zoldyk pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Zoldyk is in guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Ky Tycoon will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Tycoon shoots in looking for a takedown but Zoldyk manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tycoon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Tycoon dives in for a single leg takedown but Zoldyk sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tycoon looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Tycoon is still on wobbly legs! Can Zoldyk finish him?

Zoldyk connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Tycoon! He's out on his feet! Zoldyk rushes in and drops Tycoon with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Killua Zoldyk!
A relieved looking Killua Zoldyk thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Ky Tycoon was interviewed post fight and said 'Well he got me tonight he's a tough guy appreciate his effort tonight and it bring him the W I'm sure that I learned from this and use it as a motivation to keep improving'.
