PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Striker (ranked 24034 p4p, 471 weight class) and Tylonal Jones (ranked 5714 p4p, 430 weight class). Jones comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rubber band man kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Striker eats them both and turns towards Jones to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Striker lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Striker is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Striker creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Striker thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Striker goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Jones has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Striker but great work by Jones.

Striker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Striker takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Striker takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Ken Striker has been cut.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Jones is pawing at Striker, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Striker's nose. Striker is badly hurt! Jones pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Striker tries desperately to hold on but Jones is relentless in his assault! As Striker receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Jones away and this one is in the books!

After winning the bout, Tylonal Jones thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
