Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Briggs (ranked 5562 p4p, 484 weight class) and Dong Hyun Kim Jong Un (ranked 1990 p4p, 236 weight class). Dong Hyun Kim Jong Un will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Briggs darts in trying to clinch
and Kim Jong Un counters with a right hand to the body.
No luck for Kim Jong Un with that takedown attempt.
Briggs is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Kim Jong Un .
Briggs misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Briggs shoots in and drives through. Kim Jong Un sprawls well.
Kim Jong Un looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Briggs appears to be looking for a big counter.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kim Jong Un feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Kim Jong Un distracts Briggs with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Kim Jong Un trying to control the position from guard on top but Briggs is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Briggs wants to stand up but Kim Jong Un is controlling him.
Briggs utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Kim Jong Un lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Briggs seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Kim Jong Un is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Briggs not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Briggs wants to sweep here but Kim Jong Un controlling him for the moment.

Kim Jong Un has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Kim Jong Un is working Briggs over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Briggs is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Kim Jong Un postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Kim Jong Un with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Briggs is rocked!
Kim Jong Un loads up on a big left hand. Briggs felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Kim Jong Un looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Briggs can't hide his disappointment, as Kim Jong Un celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dong Hyun Kim Jong Un !
An out of breath and clearly excited Dong Hyun Kim Jong Un thanked Condemned for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
