The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pardo getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Pardo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Pardo bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Scorpy's head.
It looks like British Scorpy has been cut.
Scorpy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pardo sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Pardo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Pardo scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Scorpy doesn't seem bothered though.
Pardo paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Scorpy is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Scorpy closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Pardo cracks Scorpy with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Pardo has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Scorpy to stand back up!
