Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oren Wright (ranked 5953 p4p, 483 weight class) and Charles Duffy (ranked 6095 p4p, 490 weight class). Charles Duffy will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wright looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Wright definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Wright controlling the action here.
Duffy is trying to stand.
Wright wants to pass the guard but Duffy is defending well.
Wright is controlling the pace.
Wright 's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Duffy is trying to stand back up but Wright is controlling him
Wright takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Duffy pushes Wright off looking to stand but Wright dives back in and keeps control.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Duffy tries to bum rush Wright with a series of wild strikes but Wright uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Duffy!

It looks like Oren Wright has been cut.
Sloppy strikes from Duffy. Those never looked like landing.
Duffy lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Duffy lands with a right and another and another! Wright is in big trouble! Duffy lands again and this time it's lights out for Wright ! A quality knockout there for Duffy.
