Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Errol Jitani (ranked 5056 p4p, 425 weight class) and Arthur Witt (ranked 24585 p4p, 504 weight class). Arthur Witt is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Arthur Witt!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Jitani.
Jitani throws a nice head kick!
Jitani with a hook.

Witt has Jitani up against the cage in a clinch.
Jitani has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Witt drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jitani gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Jitani tries to break free but Witt pushes him back against the cage.

Jitani escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Witt doesn't manage to clinch there - Jitani circles away.
Good leg kick by Jitani there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Witt tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Witt steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Jitani. That one must have hurt.
Witt throws a series of punches but Jitani moves out of range.
A slapping body kick lands there for Jitani.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Witt fails with the takedown.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Witt tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jitani sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Witt somewhat.
Errol Jitani has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arthur Witt.
Jitani moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Witt walks forward, straight into a front kick from Jitani.

It looks like Arthur Witt has been cut.
Errol Jitani seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jitani scores with a jab to the jaw.

Witt is rocked!
Witt walks forward, straight into a front kick from Jitani.
Witt is still on wobbly legs! Can Jitani finish him?
Jitani lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Witt seems to have recovered his senses.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jitani.
Witt wants to clinch.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jitani is looking to slow Witt down with leg kicks.
A jab from Jitani finds it's way through Witt's defenses.
Jitani throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Witt sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jitani cracks Witt with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Witt swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jitani counters with an inside leg kick.
Jitani scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Jitani misses with a hook.
Jitani thuds his shin into the meat of Witt's side.
Jitani circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Witt drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Jitani follows Witt to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Errol Jitani!
A relieved looking Errol Jitani thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
