The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dash lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Dash throws a right hand that Morales ducks under and follows up with a left that Morales also avoids with ease.
Morales looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Dash avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Dash attempts a counter takedown but Morales avoids it well and moves away.
Dash misses with a looping left.
Dash takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
A slow jab from Morales misses its intended target.
Morales bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dash's head backwards.
Dash lands with a nice body kick.

Morales throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dash sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Dash decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Morales's guard.
Dash stands and steps away. Morales gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Dash drops his hands momentarily and Morales takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Whack! Dash lands a heavy head kick that drops Morales. The ref tackles Dash to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Morales was done.
