Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Scorpion (ranked 856 p4p, 115 weight class) and Charles Hawtry (ranked 755 p4p, 101 weight class). Hawtry has chosen The Rain as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Anderson Scorpion has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Anderson Scorpion seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawtry throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Hawtry lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Hawtry takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Hawtry misses with an uppercut. Scorpion saw that one coming.
Hawtry stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Scorpion.
Scorpion throws a right and a left that Hawtry avoids nicely.
Scorpion uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hawtry.

so Hawtry counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Scorpion is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Fury MMA that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Scorpion is rocked!
Hawtry gets to his feet and stands over Scorpion, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Scorpion felt that one! Hawtry unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Scorpion from any more punishment!
