Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Misty (ranked 4500 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wukong Zanh Zu (ranked 6429 p4p, 541 weight class). Zanh Zu has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zanh Zu shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Misty wants to stand back up but Zanh Zu manages to pass into side control.

Misty lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Zanh Zu shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Zanh Zu was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Zanh Zu has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Misty is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Zanh Zu yanks on the arm and Misty is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Zanh Zu.
