The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dos Palmares tries to close the distance and clinch but Webster swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Webster moves into the clinch successfully.
dos Palmares is working for takedown but Webster is calmly controlling the position for now.
Webster connects with a nasty looking knee right to dos Palmares's face.
Webster lands an elbow inside that dos Palmares shrugs off.

It looks like Zumbi dos Palmares has been cut.
Webster using the Thai plumb to throw knees but dos Palmares has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

dos Palmares could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
dos Palmares has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Webster avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Webster gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from dos Palmares.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zumbi dos Palmares. That's going to take a lot out of him.

dos Palmares is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

dos Palmares is trying to drag Webster to the mat but Webster just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
dos Palmares jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Webster walks away with a smile on his face. dos Palmares gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Webster stuffs the takedown.
dos Palmares fails with a takedown attempt.

dos Palmares throws a head kick but Webster moves out of range.
Webster lands a brutal head kick. dos Palmares looks out on his feet and Webster throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
