The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bera tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Banchamek really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bera. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bera has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Bera looking to break Banchamek's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Banchamek remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Bera will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Bera tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Banchamek smiles and moves away.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bera crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Banchamek - the referee stops the clock and Bera gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Banchamek. Bera manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Buakaw Banchamek showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
