The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baca misses with a series of wild punches.
Baca tries to close the distance and clinch but Hunkstrom swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Baca moves into the clinch successfully.
Baca misses with a short punch on the inside.
Hunkstrom fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hunkstrom wants to break the clinch but can't.
Baca stops a takedown attempt from Hunkstrom.

Hunkstrom fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Baca sprawls well initially but Hunkstrom persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Baca slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Baca has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hunkstrom can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
