The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leonard looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

That was a close round but I would say that Derrick Addams will probably get the nod.

Addams shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Addams was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Addams is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Leonard has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Leonard!

Addams throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Leonard escapes and throws Addams's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Leonard thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The referee asks Leonard politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Leonard prefers to stall for the moment though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Addams escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Leonard gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Leonard is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Addams is just riding it out for now. Leonard eventually gives up the hold.

Leonard is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Addams reverses the position - he's now on top in Leonard's guard.

Well Leonard has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
