Barao thows a body kick. Holm tries to catch it but that hurt him.

and Barao counters with a slapping leg kick.
Barao swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Barao bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Holm's head backwards.
Barao thuds his shin into the meat of Holm's side.
Holm looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sloppy strikes from Holm. Those never looked like landing.
Barao raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Holm tries to clinch but Barao moves out of range.
Barao was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Tyler Holm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Barao counters with a three punch combo that has Holm backing up. Holm nods at Barao to acknowledge the strikes.
Holm is breathing heavily.

Barao moves out of range of the leg kick from Holm.

A little jabbing left from Barao on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Barao closes the distance and clinches.

Barao breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Holm lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Barao circles away quickly and effectively.
Despite the aggression on Barao's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Good leg kick by Barao there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Holm wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Holm fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Barao, pushing him back against the cage.

Barao manages to break the clinch.
Barao tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Holm is able to avoid easily.
Holm changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Barao throws a nice outside leg kick.
Barao lands a head kick. Holm smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Holm is rocked!

Oh Holm is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Barao keeps Holm at a distance using the push kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

A thudding body kick lands there by Barao!
Holm takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Barao lands a big head kick that sends Holm to the canvas! Barao follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
