The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rubanok fails with an attempt to clinch.

and McNabb counters with a three punch combo that has Rubanok backing up. Rubanok nods at McNabb to acknowledge the strikes.

Rubanok is rocked!
McNabb swinging wildly here.
McNabb looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Rubanok throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A jab from McNabb misses.
And Rubanok tries to counter it with a takedown but McNabb pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Rubanok misses with a wild combination.
McNabb is looking for a counter combo.
A looping hook to the body misses from McNabb. Rubanok does a little dance to reset his feet.
McNabb goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Rubanok is still on wobbly legs! Can McNabb finish him?
McNabb feints with a jab and clips Rubanok right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Rubanok is sent crashing into the canvas and McNabb leaps in for the kill! Rubanok tries to get to his feet but McNabb is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Rubanok is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jimmy McNabb!
A very excited looking Jimmy McNabb rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
