The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Trevenn misses with a hook to the ribs.
Trevenn tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Jones prevents a body shot from Trevenn.
Trevenn is working for takedown but Jones is calmly controlling the position for now.
Trevenn has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Jones after a bit of a struggle.
Trevenn is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jones pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jarvis Trevenn. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones is pressed up against the cage. Trevenn has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jones down to the mat. Jones avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Trevenn goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Jones gets in close and instigates a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jones is looking to control Trevenn's arms but Trevenn gets an underhook and turns him. Now Jones has his back to the cage.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Jones.
Trevenn jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jones walks away with a smile on his face. Trevenn gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Trevenn clinches up against the cage.

Jones jumps into guard, dragging Trevenn to the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Trevenn decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Trevenn drives through with a takedown into Jones's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Trevenn looking to improve position, pressing down on Jones's thigh with his hand. Jones seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Trevenn paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Trevenn's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Jones picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
