The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Hernandez - just one landing.
Foster misses the shot to the body.
Foster closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Foster shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hernandez as he jumps to the side.

Foster drives through and clinches with Hernandez against the cage.

Foster successfully pulls guard.
Hernandez is looking to stand up but Foster won't let him.

Hernandez gets to his feet - Foster follows without any prompting.
Hernandez lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Foster darts in trying to clinch
and Hernandez counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Hernandez misses with an uppercut.
Foster takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Hernandez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Hernandez throws an overhand right that lands on Foster's shoulder, as Foster tries to avoid the shot.
Hernandez connects with a body shot.
Hernandez lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Hernandez sizes up Foster with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Hernandez's corner calls for a 1-2. Hernandez obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Foster misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hernandez lands a slapping body shot.
Foster closes the distance looking to clinch
and Hernandez counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Hernandez throws a good cross that connects.
Foster tries for a takedown but Hernandez circles away easily
and Hernandez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Charlie Foster. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Foster is breathing heavily.

Hernandez fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Foster swings for the body but Hernandez moves out of range.

Oooooh!!! Hernandez has knocked Foster down with a huge combo! Hernandez steps away and waves a wobbly Foster back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Foster is rocked!
Hernandez lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Foster can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Hernandez and Foster drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Hernandez.
