Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Arturo Gallo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcellus Marcus !
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Anthony Taglia and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gallo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Marcus is fending him off so far but Gallo persists. Nope, Marcus circles away and we're back to standing.
Marcus shoots in and drives through. Gallo sprawls well.
Marcus jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Marcus throws a leg kick that is checked
and Gallo counters with a one-two to the body.
Marcus fails to land the takedown.

Marcus moves into range and clinches up with Gallo.
Marcus throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Gallo blocks it with crossed arms.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Marcus has Gallo pressed against the cage, preventing Gallo from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
A bit of stalling here from Gallo.

Marcus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Marcus stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Marcus wants it to stay on the feet.
Marcus defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Gallo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arturo Gallo. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Marcus has taken the fight to the clinch.

Gallo ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gallo no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Marcus is pushing down on Gallo's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gallo is fighting to maintain full guard but Marcus has managed to sneak the leg through.
Marcus looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Marcus passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Gallo!

Marcus is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Gallo is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Gallo flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Marcus anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Gallo and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Marcus slips an arm under Gallo chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Marcus has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Marcus is squeezing on Gallo like an anaconda would it's prey. Gallo fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
