I think Montabon might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Ain't No Sunshine. O Hooligan has chosen Shipping out to Boston - Dropkick Murphy as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montabon lands with a nice combination. O Hooligan backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Shamus O Hooligan has been cut.
Montabon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Montabon lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but O Hooligan circles away quickly and effectively.
O Hooligan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Montabon tries to avoid it but O Hooligan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Montabon to the ground. Montabon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
O Hooligan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Nice takedown defense from Montabon. No joy for O Hooligan on that attempt.

O Hooligan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Montabon gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

O Hooligan has his foot on Montabon's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Montabon works his way back into a safe position though.
O Hooligan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
