Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aron Egomi (ranked 4584 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felix Muller (ranked 7151 p4p, 0 weight class). Egomi's entrance music is Hand of doom by Manowar. A fine choice. Felix Muller has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Aron Egomi's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Egomi shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Egomi was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Egomi tries for a kimura but Muller is defending well.
Egomi lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Muller down.
Muller really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Egomi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Egomi looks up at the clock and then as Muller takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Egomi smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Egomi just content to control the position.

Egomi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Egomi darts in looking for a takedown but Muller gets double underhooks and turns Egomi into the cage.

Muller wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Egomi manages to pass to side control.

Egomi is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Muller is defending well though. Egomi let's go of the attempt for now.

Muller defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Egomi.

Egomi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Muller avoids it really well and circles away.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Egomi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Egomi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Muller is looking to stand up but Egomi isn't so interested in that idea.

Muller shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Muller showed some decent athleticism there.

Egomi manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Muller keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Muller is struggling to control the position.

Muller has clasped his hands together around Egomi's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Egomi throws Muller to one side and escapes!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
