PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Iggy Manley (ranked 2547 p4p, 297 weight class) and Gene Parmesan (ranked 2540 p4p, 295 weight class). Manley's entrance music is Born in the USA. A fine choice. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parmesan looks to throw the jab but Manley is out of range.
Manley swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Parmesan cracks Manley with a right hand to the side of the head.
Manley slips a jab from Parmesan.
Manley tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Parmesan defends well and Manley ends up having to push Parmesan into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Manley shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Parmesan sprawls well. Parmesan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Manley gets slowly back to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
