Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Shao Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eugeniusz Parzystopa!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Vladimir Khabensky and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parzystopa gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Khan counters with a straight right hand.
Parzystopa should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Khan moves into the clinch.
Parzystopa has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Khan avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Parzystopa can't get the takedown.
Shao Khan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eugeniusz Parzystopa.
Parzystopa tries for a takedown. No joy.

Khan manages to break the clinch.
A head kick misses from Khan.
Khan's corner calls for a 1-2. Khan obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Khan has Parzystopa up against the cage in a clinch.
Khan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Parzystopa drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Khan gets the underhooks and prevents it.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Parzystopa has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Khan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Khan lands an overhand right.
Parzystopa gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
enabling Khan to counter with a crisp jab.
Parzystopa looks winded!

Khan rushes Parzystopa and presses him up against the cage.
Khan prevents the takedown attempt.
Parzystopa tries to score a body lock takedown but Khan shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Khan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Khan clinches with his opponent.
Khan is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Khan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Good exchange - Khan coming out on top.

Khan pushes Parzystopa up against the cage in a clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Khan - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Khan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Khan lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Parzystopa backwards.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Khan.

Khan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Khan drives through and clinches with Parzystopa against the cage.
Khan lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Khan lands a body shot in the clinch.

Khan breaks from the clinch.

Khan has taken the fight to the clinch.

Khan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Parzystopa gets tackled into the cage by Khan. Khan maintains the clinch.
Khan prevents a takedown attempt there.
Khan lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
A short body shot lands from Khan as the two fighters clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Khan manages to break the clinch.

Khan has Parzystopa up against the cage in a clinch.

Khan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Khan catches Parzystopa with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Khan lands with a big left! Parzystopa is wobbled badly! Khan comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Parzystopa to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Shao Khan!
