Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Iv Karlson (ranked 3032 p4p, 122 weight class) and Lucjan Grabowski (ranked 3034 p4p, 124 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karlson is looking to slow Grabowski down with leg kicks.

Karlson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Grabowski manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Karlson has Grabowski in his guard.

Grabowski wants to control from the top but Karlson keeps moving.

Grabowski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Karlson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Grabowski shoots in looking for a takedown. Karlson tries to sprawl out of it but Grabowski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Karlson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Karlson finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Karlson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
