Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silverstein avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The fighters circling - Silverstein throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Silverstein thows a left - swing and a miss!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Silverstein.
Silverstein tries to score with some ground and pound. Patch controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Patch tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Silverstein wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Patch sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Patch is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Patch is trying to stand up here but Silverstein is controlling him well.
Silverstein is taking a breather. Patch says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Patch avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Silverstein.
Silverstein content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Silverstein is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Patch wants to hold on but Silverstein pushes him away.
Patch gets back to half guard.
Patch is looking to improve his position.

Silverstein seems to be working for a kimura but Patch defends the submission attempt.
Patch tries to roll over but Silverstein keeps him under control.
Patch looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Silverstein is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Patch doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Silverstein.

Silverstein has knee on belly and moves into mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Silverstein tries to control but Patch wriggling away.
Silverstein is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Silverstein!
