Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Kazmaier (ranked 4572 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daffy Duck (ranked 4742 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bill Kazmaier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daffy Duck!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kazmaier.
Duck with the counter takedown but Kazmaier avoids it easily.
Duck will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kazmaier clinches up with Duck and pushes him back against the cage.
Kazmaier fails to pull guard.
Kazmaier could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Duck pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Duck closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kazmaier circles away.

Duck fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kazmaier, pushing him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Duck has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kazmaier uses from the top position.

Kazmaier is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Duck is aware though and is defending well.

Kazmaier wants to stand but Duck is controlling his posture from full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Duck pulls Kazmaier in close to prevent any damage.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Duck shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kazmaier is trying to defend but Duck finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Duck seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Daffy Duck dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kazmaier manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Duck keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Kazmaier has had enough of the clinch but Duck keeps him there for the moment.
Kazmaier throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Duck pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Duck fails with a takedown attempt.
Bill Kazmaier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daffy Duck.
Kazmaier is looking to clinch but Duck is avoiding it.
Kazmaier shoots in looking for a takedown but Duck manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kazmaier's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Kazmaier tries to pull guard but Duck forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Duck escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Duck lands a big head kick that sends Kazmaier tumbling to the mat! Duck takes a step backwards and waves Kazmaier back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Bill Kazmaier has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kazmaier looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Duck is fending him off so far but Kazmaier persists. Nope, Duck circles away and we're back to standing.
Oh Kazmaier is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Duck moves into the clinch successfully.

Duck escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Duck closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kazmaier seems to have got his legs back now.
Kazmaier tries a knee to the head but Duck blocks it.
Duck tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kazmaier smiles and moves away.
Duck tries for a takedown but Kazmaier sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Duck has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kazmaier avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Daffy Duck seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

Duck clinches up with Kazmaier and pushes him back against the cage.

Duck jumps guard but Kazmaier stands there with Duck around his waist. Duck gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kazmaier has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Duck after a bit of a struggle.

Daffy Duck showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Duck is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Daffy Duck has got the better of the ground game so far.

Daffy Duck comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Duck has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
