Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mikey Torres (ranked 4008 p4p, 215 weight class) and Denis Denisov (ranked 3475 p4p, 191 weight class). Denis Denisov has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres throws a push kick but Denisov slaps the foot to one side.
Denisov fails with a takedown attempt.
Mikey Torres seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Torres is looking to clinch but Denisov is avoiding it.
Denisov changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Denisov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Denisov manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Torres on his heels. He'll look to pass Torres's guard now, I'm sure.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Torres wants to stand but Denisov is controlling the position.
Denisov scoring with some ground and pound.
Denisov is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Denisov with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Denisov passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Torres is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Torres wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Denisov lands a strong strike to the head of Torres. That's dazed him! Denisov looking to finish here. Torres is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Denisov lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
