Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Demuss (ranked 2638 p4p, 249 weight class) and Pierre Mvarre (ranked 3252 p4p, 292 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mvarre ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Demuss has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Death Valley Training Facility in the buildup to the fight.
Mvarre throws a jab but it's blocked by Demuss.
Mvarre throws a shot from downtown. Demuss moves away and avoids it.
As Mvarre looks to move away, Demuss throws a big counter combo but Mvarre just gets out of the way.
Demuss throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mvarre.
Demuss takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Demuss blocks a head kick by Mvarre.
Mvarre clobbers Demuss with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Jake Demuss has been cut.
Mvarre stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Demuss.
Demuss slips under a jab from Mvarre.
Mvarre throws a looping overhand right but Demuss ducks down to avoid it.
Mvarre swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Demuss throws a wild body kick that Mvarre sees coming a mile off.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Demuss lands a nice shot to the body.
Mvarre tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Demuss was well out of range. Poor timing from Mvarre.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pierre Mvarre seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mvarre moves away from the strike by Demuss.
Demuss looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Demuss throws a nice looking combination but Mvarre bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Demuss turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Demuss moves out of range as Mvarre strikes.
Mvarre thuds a left hand into Demuss's body.
Demuss ducks under a wild hook from Mvarre.
Mvarre will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Demuss throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mvarre.
Mvarre looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Mvarre throws a hook to the side of Demuss's head but Demuss sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Demuss is looking for a counter combo.
Mvarre cracks Demuss with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Demuss looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Mvarre finish him?
Demuss is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mvarre lands a right hook to the body.
Oh Demuss is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Demuss is breathing heavily.
Mvarre circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Demuss tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Mvarre wins by KO!
