Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geronimo Bones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bones comes into a darkened arena with his song building. One by Metallica kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Bones looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Some wild striking there from Bones.
Bones misses with a few strikes there.

Thompson takes the fight into the clinch.
Bones tries to score a body lock takedown but Thompson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Thompson lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Thompson lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Thompson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Thompson.
No joy there for Bones, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bones looks gassed!
Bones tries to bum rush Thompson with a series of wild strikes but Thompson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Geronimo Bones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bones misses with a jab, cross combination.
Oooh a lovely combination from Thompson sends Bones down but not out. Thompson dives into side control looking to finish.

Bones is rocked!

It looks like Geronimo Bones has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A big shot lands for Thompson! That's hurt Bones! Will he recover? Thompson fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
