Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Emilio Rojas (ranked 1486 p4p, 183 weight class) and Severo Del Bosque (ranked 2237 p4p, 246 weight class). Del Bosque is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mimosa - Drippin. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Emilio Rojas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 27 - 0, fighting out of London, Severo Del Bosque!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Bosque throws a sloppy head kick
and Rojas counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Rojas scores with the left hand. Del Bosque knows he should have avoided that one.


It looks like Severo Del Bosque has been cut.
Del Bosque throws a front kick aimed at Rojas's knee but Rojas avoids it well.
Del Bosque lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Rojas takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Left hook, right uppercut from Del Bosque.
Rojas bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Del Bosque's head backwards.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Del Bosque looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Rojas throws a sloppy head kick and Del Bosque moves out of range easily.
Danga de danga de dang - Del Bosque scores with a four punch combination!

That's one minute gone in the round.
A combination from Del Bosque does no damage.
It looked like Rojas wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Del Bosque throws a looping overhand right but Rojas ducks down to avoid it.
Rojas slips a jab and a cross from Del Bosque.
We've been told by Rojas's head coaches at Big Bear Fight Factory that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Del Bosque lands an overhand right.
Del Bosque misses with a leg kick
and Rojas counters with a straight right hand.
Del Bosque throws a body kick that misses
and Rojas counters with a huge left! Del Bosque is in big trouble! He's backing up but Rojas isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Del Bosque from any more damage. A dominating finish by Rojas!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Emilio Rojas!
Our winner, Emilio Rojas, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
