The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neffgen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Wilks manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Wilks drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Wilks keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Neffgen's head.

Wilks is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Neffgen is hurt! He's hurt bad - Wilks fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Neffgen from any more punishment! Congratulations to Wilks! Great finish!
